| I work with a select group of colleagues that I have known for three
decades. They have been selected because of their expertise and their
willingness to communicate with my patients and me. I don’t have to
wait to get a report from a consultant or radiologist after seeing
a complicated patient – we pick up the phone and discuss the case
immediately. This allows for a timely evaluation and also the peace
of mind for my patients who won’t have to anxiously wait days for
these results. If patients are too sick to come into the office, I
will arrange for a nurse to see them, or see them myself, at their
home. |
